A hidden gem near the Village of Calumet. Calumet Lake was once used as a water reservoir. It is a spring fed 40 acre lake that is filled with wild life. Talk a walk in Keweenaw National Historic Park and head back into time. During the winter the area is a favorite for snowmobiling. Swedetown trails are just a few minutes away for lighted and well groomed cross country ski trails. Looking for a thrill skiing? Mount Bohemia with it's glade skiing is just 30 min north.
Swedetown trails are less then one mile away which offers both winter and summer trail use. A wide variety of beautiful single track mountain bike trails for all skill levels to enjoy. This year the trails hosted the first Great Deer Chase Mountain Bike Race.
